Marketing & Events Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small, technical team at an early-stage AI company working on reinforcement learning infrastructure and post-training data. You will shape the company's story, grow inbound interest, and create events that build momentum within the technical AI community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the marketing strategy and content calendar, refining brand voice and positioning across channels.
• Lead the company's presence on X and LinkedIn to grow audience, engagement, and inbound interest.
• Write founder content that communicates product vision, insights, and platform achievements.
• Turn complex technical concepts into clear, accurate narratives for technical audiences.
• Experiment with content formats, use analytics to assess results, and focus on effective growth strategies.
• Identify relevant conferences, hackathons, and technical communities, then plan and run memorable events end to end.
• Support the team's event presence, including talks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in marketing, content, or community roles at startups, with a track record of growing social accounts or company brands.
• A writing portfolio showing the ability to understand technical products and explain them simply and accurately.
• Hands-on experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs from start to finish.
• AI-native perspective and active participation in AI communities, with familiarity with the AI landscape and relevant technical groups.
• Experience marketing AI/ML, developer tools, technical platforms, or technical B2B products; consumer-only marketing experience is not a fit.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and social and content growth strategies, plus the ability to work independently in an early-stage environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $130,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates should be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
